Body Found in Cave Near Yerevan Lake

A body has been discovered in a cave near the Yerevan Lake. The information has been confirmed by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.

"On January 22, at 13:10, the National Crisis Management Center received a call reporting that a body was found in the vicinity of the 'Yerevan' Lake (inside the cave); rescuers are needed to retrieve it from the difficult terrain," the statement read.

A rescue team from the special operations center of the Ministry's Rescue Service has been dispatched to the scene. Rescuers have successfully retrieved the body of a citizen from the cave near the Yerevan Lake.
