VIDEO: Is Your Voice Gone? Mr. Abovyan, Be Correct. Alen Simonyan to Abovyan
Today, during a session in the National Assembly, Prosperous Armenia Party MP Arman Abovyan addressed the Prime Minister of Armenia, asking when he would resign. “We have gathered calmly, having a serious discussion, analyzing things. Do you realize that we have lost 75 percent of Artsakh, and now we are losing Armenia? Yes, we are losing,” declared Abovyan.
During his speech, members of the My Step faction responded from their seats, to which Abovyan retorted, “Is your voice gone already, huh?”
Vice Speaker Alen Simonyan urged Abovyan to “be correct,” to which Abovyan replied, “Please, do not interrupt me. Make your call for correctness to your MPs.”
“I hear Pashinyan saying the opposition is to blame. You all have ruined everything but blame the opposition. When have we ever been in power that we don't know?” Abovyan challenged. “You say, let’s sit down and discuss. What to discuss? The situation is getting worse day by day. There is no time to discuss, nor is there anything to discuss. We are losing every day… When will you leave?” he pressed the Prime Minister.
Alen Simonyan responded, “Formulate your question in writing; there will be an answer.” When Abovyan wished to respond, Simonyan interjected, “Excuse me, who are you going to respond to? Please send your question in writing.”
