Minimum Threshold for Students' Average Qualitative Assessment Set for Partial Tuition Reimbursement

The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, Vahram Dumanyan, has established the minimum threshold for the average qualitative assessment of students in higher education institutions for the purpose of providing partial tuition reimbursement in the form of student benefits.

The minimum threshold for the average qualitative assessment has been set for students enrolled in higher education institutions based on the results of competitive examinations for admission to bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, including integrated programs.

  1. For the purpose of providing partial tuition reimbursement in the form of student benefits, the following minimum thresholds are established for students in the 2nd year and above:
    1. A) For bachelor’s degree and integrated programs: 40% /MQS/,
    2. B) For master’s degree: 50% /MQS/.
  2. For first-year students:
    1. A. For bachelor’s degree and integrated programs: 15 points, with a passing score of 7.5 points in a single competitive examination.
    2. B. For master’s degree: the overall mean qualitative assessment from previous studies must be at least 41% /MQS/.
