Çavuşoğlu Indicates Conditions for Turkey to Normalize Relations with Armenia

The Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has confirmed Ankara's intention to normalize relations with Yerevan and specified under what conditions this would take place.

As reported by the Vesti Kavkaza website, the Turkish minister made this statement during a joint press conference in Ankara with his German counterpart Heiko Maas. Çavuşoğlu referenced the established ceasefire regime in Nagorno-Karabakh, describing the current situation as a "good opportunity."

"If the ceasefire is long-term, Turkey and Azerbaijan can take steps towards normalizing relations with Armenia. We will coordinate this process together with Azerbaijan," the Turkish minister stated, according to the source.
