Garik Martirosyan Refuses to Advertise Azerbaijani Sponsor on 'Mask' Show

Journalist and presenter Ksenia Sobchak has published photos on her Telegram channel, stating that Garik Martirosyan did not promote an "Azerbaijani" tea during the broadcast of the ‘Mask’ show on NTV. The comedian is one of the jury members of the show.

The five jury members—Valeriya, Philip Kirkorov, Regina Todorenko, Rodriguez, and Garik Martirosyan—evaluate the participants during the performances and drink from cups branded with the sponsor's logo.

“It is noticeable that Garik Martirosyan either sits without a drink, or places his cup in such a way on the table that the word 'Azerchai' is not visible,” Sobchak writes on her Telegram. “Garik is Armenian, and having an Azerbaijani sponsor here would likely raise many questions amid the ongoing conflict, and thus he is hiding the cup.”
