Gone and Lost: Cows Cross Border in Martakert and End Up on Azerbaijani Side

In the village of Jhankatagh in Martakert, 4 livestock have wandered off and ended up on the Azerbaijani side. This information was shared with Sputnik Armenia by Hayk Bakhshev, head of the Martakert regional administration.

It is worth noting that earlier, reports circulated online stating that Azerbaijanis had fired shots at a resident of Jhankatagh village and stolen 7 livestock. “The incident did not occur today, but about 10 days ago. There were no shots fired; the livestock simply strayed and most likely ended up on the Azerbaijani side,” the regional administration head stated.

According to him, it is necessary to be more vigilant. He said that all livestock owners are being warned to keep their animals contained to prevent them from crossing into Azerbaijani territory, as they will not be returned once they do.
