Changes in the Payment Process of Benefits and Pensions in Yerevan, Gyumri, and Vanadzor

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia reports that starting from January 1, 2021, pensions, as well as benefits for old age, disability, and loss of breadwinner, in Yerevan, Gyumri, and Vanadzor, will be paid in a non-cash manner when applying for the resumption of these payments, restoration of right to benefits, recalculation of pensions, and changing the type of pension. Exceptions will be made for pensions paid to individuals with first or second category disabilities, pensioners over the age of 75, cases of payments made by power of attorney, and pensions (benefits) paid for minors over 14 years of age.
