71-Year-Old Driver Collides with Kia and Rolls Over, Hitting a Mercedes

At approximately 20:50, 71-year-old Farhad Kirakosyan, a resident of Myasnikyan village, collided with a Kia vehicle driven by 56-year-old Samvel Hovhannisyan from Ararat region, while driving his VAZ-2106 on the 1st km section of the Armavir-Hajik highway. The car then rolled over and struck a Mercedes vehicle driven by 23-year-old Stepan Tatoyan, a resident of Khankend village.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the vehicle with the number 06 was taken to the 'Armavir' medical center with bodily injuries. Officers from the 1st platoon of the 1st company of the 2nd police battalion of the Road Police arrived at the scene, led by platoon commander Grigor Poghosyan and squad commander Marlens Sarkisyan.
The senior investigator of the same platoon, Narek Petrosyan, managed the investigation at the scene, and materials are being prepared concerning the incident. The first to assist the injured driver were the workers from the gas station acting nearby.
