Body of Woman Discovered in Syunik Province

On January 17, a tragic incident occurred in Syunik Province. Around 9:30 AM, the administrative representative of the village of Aravus, Argam Hovsepyan, reported to the Goris police station that there was a body in the area known as "Karaghbiyur" in Aravus.

According to Shamshyan.com, police and investigators found that the previous day, around 11:00 AM, a 72-year-old resident of the same village, Nuvard N., had left her home and did not return, raising concern among her relatives and fellow villagers, who then began search efforts.

As a result, at the specified location near burnt bushes, the body of Nuvard N. was discovered, showing varying degrees of thermal burns on different parts of the body.

Following this incident, materials are being prepared in the investigative department of Goris. By the investigator’s decree, several examinations have been appointed, including a forensic examination of the corpse.
