Explosions Expected in Several Settlements of Askeran Region as Deminers Work

As part of the efforts to locate and neutralize unexploded ordnance during the war, demolition work is scheduled today in the Askeran region. The press office of the Artsakh Republic Emergency Situations Service reports that particularly unexploded weapons and munitions will be destroyed in the villages of Khachmach and Mkhtitarashen, as well as in the territories of the Khnatsakh and Aygestan communities.

The sounds of explosions will also be audible in Stepanakert. It should be noted that this process will continue in the coming months. Therefore, we ask the public not to panic upon hearing these sounds,” the statement said.
