Regulations for Granting Maternity Benefits to Unemployed Individuals Revised

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs reports that the regulations for granting maternity benefits to unemployed individuals have been revised. By government decision, the requirement to present a state childbirth certificate to receive maternity benefits has been removed from the list of necessary documents.

Under the previous regulation, unemployed mothers were required to provide a state childbirth certificate starting from the 22nd week of pregnancy to access this type of benefit.
