Police Major Edgar Galoyan wrote on his Facebook page: "Dear compatriots, friends, colleagues: I, Senior Operative Officer of the especially important cases group of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Armavir Regional Department of the RA Police, Major Edgar Galoyan, considering the social-political situation created in our country, am leaving the law enforcement system and joining the just demand of the people for the Prime Minister's resignation.

I am convinced that police officers who are loyal to their vocation and professional dignity will ultimately realize that the mission of law enforcement is to serve the state and the people."
