What Kyaramyan Was Doing in Shushi and Stepanakert, Whom and What Information He Was Reporting via Mobile Phone: Babayan

Member of the "Homeland" party council Arsen Babayan, responding to the statement by former NSS head Argishti Kyaramyan that he came down from a height and saw that Arthur Vanetsyan was not at his deployment site, wrote:

“Kyaramyan has been recounting his naive perceptions of the war. Argishti Kyaramyan is a person dismissed from the position of Director of the National Security Service, one of the most important services of the Republic of Armenia during the war, whose dismissal was widely discussed in the media and among the public, drawing considerable speculation about betrayal.

Can you imagine, in those conditions, when our military unit was carrying out combat assignments, this character I described appears and tries to join us? Naturally, the attitude of the men in the unit should correspond to the situation.

Now this person talks about the war based on his childish impressions and fragmentary perceptions on Public Television. He recounts scripted words, without understanding what he is narrating, without grasping what combat operations were taking place in which position, under whose command, and with what significance. For instance, he recounts that upon returning to the position, he did not see Arthur Vanetsyan, without understanding that the commander of the military unit, Major General Arthur Vanetsyan, was fulfilling the assignments given by the commander of the Artsakh Defense Army, and it is natural that Kyaramyan could not be aware of the combat operations. It would be abnormal if this guy was informed about such assignments.

There are many stories like this, which perhaps our squad commanders and fighters will discuss later.

Ultimately, what was Kyaramyan's status during the combat operations, what mission did he have when he arrived and left Shushi? It is time for Kyaramyan to realize whom he represents and what assignment he is currently fulfilling. While executing the orders of the treacherous leader who surrendered Shushi, it is in his interest to not forget that there are many people who have seen and know perfectly well what Kyaramyan was doing in Shushi and Stepanakert, whom and what information he was conveying, using a mobile phone, which is prohibited on the battlefield.”
