Senor Hasratyan: 'It Seems Azerbaijani President's Statement Is Not Taken Seriously Even by His Army Soldiers'
Former spokesperson of the Artsakh Defense Army, Senor Hasratyan, wrote on his Facebook page: "Judging by the developments at the front lines and in the occupied Armenian territories in recent days (gunfire in Shushi, the destruction of the cross-stone monument in the village of Arakyl, and today a gunshot wound in the eastern border area), it creates the impression that the Azerbaijani President's statement about the final resolution of the Artsakh issue is not taken seriously not only by the Armenian side and the international community represented by the co-chair countries of the OSCE Minsk Group but also by his own army soldiers (otherwise, they would not be firing). Considering the already traditional behavior of the adversary and its non-constructive attitude regarding the agreements reached, it is a pressing task for our official spokespersons to respond to any such incident immediately and disseminate information at all levels. Today, more than ever, we need to have a competent and goal-oriented information system, which should carry out its work in a reasoned and most operational manner.
P.S. - My call-suggestion to all our officials responsible for disseminating official messages, who regard the aforementioned provocations implemented in a purposeful manner by the adversary as actions that pose no danger or, as presented, acts committed under the influence of alcohol: before writing any text or responding to the questions of the media, seriously consider what you are saying, as all of this is perceived by the public as official."
