Not the injured citizen will come to the ministry, but the ministry itself will assess the needs: Pashinyan
The government has made changes to the medical-social regulations. Minister of Labor and Social Issues Mesrop Arakelyan noted during the government session that the draft concerns measures to support injured soldiers or civilians.
According to him, under the current regulations, a citizen had to have a disability group in order to receive assistive devices such as wheelchairs or walkers, and the provision occurred only after the completion of treatment. However, with this change, it is now possible to provide these devices without having to complete the process of granting that group.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan emphasized, “With this change, it is not the needy citizen who goes to the government or the ministry; rather, the ministry itself will go to assess the needs. We have previously discussed this topic in a timely manner.”
