The Target of SATM Inspections Was Yerevan: No Violations Found
Today, the inspections conducted by the State Food Safety Inspection Body (SATM) focused exclusively on the capital, Yerevan. The extensive monitoring in the sales network and public food service establishments has revealed a faultless situation. All operators strictly adhere to the sanitary and hygienic safety norms established by the decisions of the Armenian Prime Minister and related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This was announced in a statement released by the Armenian government. “The summarized picture of the SATM inspections being conducted across the country confirms the increasing vigilance and preparedness of operators; the safety requirements arising from the pandemic have now become an inseparable part of the daily operations of food chain organizations and are being followed more diligently,” the statement said.
The SATM’s extensive oversight of the food industry has not been interrupted even for a day since the declaration of a state of emergency in the country.
