Araik Harutyunyan Discusses Conditions for Potential Resignation

If there are grounds for my resignation, I won’t stay in this position for another minute and I will submit my resignation myself. This was stated by Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports Araik Harutyunyan during a press conference, addressing demands regarding his resignation.

“The concerns of certain political circles are related to the fact that as a result of the reforms, we will have a generation that will not be their foundation, but will be critical and analytical. An analytical generation will not support those circles,” he said.

In response to a remark about the issue of his resignation within the team, the minister emphasized that there is no such issue: “I maintain my relationships with the political team through various discussions and institutional mechanisms, during which such a question has not been raised.”

Regarding the relationship between Chairperson of the State Committee for Cultural Heritage Samvel Gogyan and Deputy Minister Grisha Tamrazian, he noted that he does not want to comment on them.
