Former Prime Minister Armen Darbinyan Decides to Join 'Sasna Tsrer'

According to the "Zhoghovurd" newspaper, former Prime Minister of Armenia and rector of Yerevan Slavic University, Armen Darbinyan, has decided to join the newly established political party 'Sasna Tsrer'. Moreover, according to our sources, Darbinyan has agreed to become their political leader, assemble a team, and engage in active political activities in the near future.

"Zhoghovurd" attempted to verify this information first with Armen Darbinyan, who gave a puzzling comment: "I wish you all the best... Read my poems, they are more interesting." We also tried to discuss this matter with Varuzhan Avetisyan, a representative of the 'Sasna Tsrer' party, who stated, "There was a public proposal from Mr. Darbinyan in the form of an article and interview regarding the need to form a Constitutional Council, which could be one of the formats for gathering healthy forces. I don’t remember exactly now. And during our congress, we reacted positively to this proposal and expressed a positive attitude, that, yes, such an approach is acceptable and we consider it possible that there could be a unification around this idea."

According to Avetisyan, there has been a general idea from Darbinyan about unifying around some ideas, to which they are positively inclined, as they believe that these developments could serve as a platform for the unification of healthy forces and figures.
