Fact Report: Republicans Hint 50-60 Thousand Votes Were 'Taken' in 2018 Parliamentary Elections

The newspaper "Fact" reports that the Vice President of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Armen Ashotyann, made what can be described as a sensational assertion yesterday. On his Facebook page, commenting on Nikol Pashinyan, he specifically wrote: "Before giving lessons in democracy, it would be good for him to answer the question: where did the 50-60 thousand additional votes given to the Republican Party by voters in December 2018 go?" This essentially indicates that the Republicans have started to explicitly discuss the claim that 50-60 thousand of their votes were 'taken' away by the authorities during the 2018 elections.

It is worth recalling that the RPA received about 60 thousand votes in those elections, suggesting that the Republicans imply that they were simply not allowed to enter the parliament, while they should have been the parliamentary third force.
