Arsen Julfalakyan Resigns from Mandate, Citing Parliament's Inaction: Daniel Ioannisyan
WRed
Daniel Ioannisyan writes on his Facebook page: "Arsen Julfalakyan resigned from his mandate because the parliament is not in its place. If a member of parliament disagrees with a minister, that disagreement should turn into a debate in the session hall. That is normal, constitutional, and democratic.
But when was the last time you remember a 'My Step' member publicly criticizing a minister? I don't remember. It seems that party discipline in 'My Step' is above the constitution and democracy.
This is an abnormal phenomenon, and the culprit is not, of course, Julfalakyan. And remember: if the debate is not in parliament, then it is in the streets. Keep your intra-party debates to yourselves. #fortress_of_democracy #SMC
