It is known who will replace Arsen Julfalakyan in the National Assembly

Today, it has been announced that Narek Ghahramanyan will replace Arsen Julfalakyan, who announced his resignation from his parliamentary mandate. Narek Ghahramanyan is next on the proportional list of the "My Step" alliance. In 2018, he was appointed as the acting mayor of Kapan by the decision of Nikol Pashinyan, reports news.am.

Narek Ghahramanyan was born on April 16, 1991, in the city of Kapan. After graduating from Kapan’s Secondary School No. 7, he entered the Faculty of Geography and Geology at Yerevan State University in 2008 and graduated with a bachelor’s degree, qualifying as a geophysicist. From 2012 to 2014, he served in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia. He has worked as an economic operator at "Surnalusshin" LLC, as a surveyor (mining engineer) at "Kovakan’s Bounties," and at "Vaibl" LLC.

Since 2015, he has been a founding member of the Civil Contract party. Earlier, we reported that Arsen Julfalakyan, a member of the National Assembly faction "My Step," submitted a request to the President of the National Assembly of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan to resign his parliamentary mandate. In his statement, he noted that the reason for his decision was fundamental disagreements with Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Arayik Harutyunyan regarding the management approaches in the sectors under his authority.
