Rumors are becoming increasingly persistent that this government has decided to cross all boundaries of adequacy and initiate criminal proceedings against me and some of my colleagues. So listen to what I’m saying. The person who is behind all this knows me very well and knows that no one can intimidate me in any way. Linking me to election fraud would probably be worthy of the Guinness Book of Records absurdity, regardless of how many interceptions they manipulate to their liking and how many people they dig up to give false testimonies, or will give them.

And those people should be well aware that one day, and that day is certainly not far off, all those giving false testimonies against me and my colleagues will be held accountable, hand in hand with all those responsible for this brazen political persecution.

I know that you have also set a goal to remove me from the position of the Chair of the Human Rights Protection Committee. You know, I can resign from the chairmanship at any moment and as a simple member, I would be much freer, but I will not do that on principle. I will wait for you to do it, and then I will look into the eyes of some decent people among you, who will simply have to execute all the despicable orders.

Thus, in order to facilitate your further actions, let me clarify: we are neither afraid of losing parliamentary immunity nor, however strange it may seem to you, of being detained.

The person who launched all this, who instructed the law enforcement system to isolate us at all costs, has a lot to think about.
