Hearing in Robert Kocharyan and Others' Case Postponed

The hearing in the case of the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, and others has been postponed. The next court session will take place on September 15 at 1:00 PM.

The court discussed the petition to lift the property seizure on Kocharyan’s assets in a closed session today. "A quite extensive examination was conducted; nevertheless, the court decided to carry out additional studies," said Kocharyan's lawyer, Aram Vardevanyan, in a conversation with reporters.

According to him, the restrictions imposed on Kocharyan’s property and monetary funds should be lifted, as they were recognized as a violation of rights by the three-tier judicial system.
