In Nor Artak, the shepherd's dogs defended their owner with their lives, but could not survive snake bites

Vahan Tumasian, the president of the Shirak Center NGO, posted on his Facebook page: "The dogs defended their owner, the shepherd, at the cost of their own lives, but could not survive the snake bites... Recently, an extraordinary incident occurred in the mountains of Nor Artak village. A young shepherd was grazing the village's flock with his two dogs when a snake unexpectedly attacked him. The two dogs immediately engaged in a fight with a fairly large snake.

Although the dogs killed the snake, they were severely injured and barely managed to reach the village. However, shortly after, both succumbed to the effects of the snake bites."
