‘Hraparak’. ‘My Step’ gathered regional deputies and issued instructions

‘A meeting was held by the ‘My Step’ faction yesterday, but only regional deputies were invited, that is, those who entered parliament through the proportional lists.

The meeting was led by the faction leader Lilit Makunts. The deputies were instructed to activate communication with local residents, which had almost ceased due to the coronavirus, and to try to understand what problems people have, present them to the relevant authorities, and be persistent in addressing these issues.

Upcoming local self-government elections are planned in several communities, and the ruling power has discussed participation in them; the deputies were told to identify competitive candidates for the party to consider nominating.

In the meantime, opposition parties are also in the field visiting regions and meeting with supporters and partner forces; the ruling party has decided to take countermeasures to ease public dissatisfaction and resolve accumulated problems. It has been stated, ‘Don’t allow the opposition to generate complaints and use them against us.’ Notably, not all regional deputies were present at the meeting,’ writes the newspaper.
