«Joxovurd». The Individual in Critical Condition Following Explosion Lost Home Due to Betting
«Joxovurd» newspaper reports that new details have emerged regarding the explosion caused by a gas leak at 3 Rainis Street in Yerevan. It was revealed yesterday that the explosion partially collapsed twelve apartments on the fifth floor. Two individuals were removed from the rubble and taken to the hospital, while one was found dead.
According to «Joxovurd», the explosion occurred in the home of 41-year-old Edgar Margaryan, who is among the individuals taken to the hospital and is currently in critical condition. Witnesses gathered at the scene mentioned that they had heard information regarding an act of desperation by a resident on the second floor who intended to consume essence and end his life. This again refers to Edgar Margaryan, and moreover, our information suggests that he lost his apartment due to betting and was in a severe psychological state.
We also learned that last night only Edgar Margaryan was at home; his son, Erik, spent the night at a friend’s house, while his wife and daughter had left the house days earlier due to the atmosphere prevailing there. Law enforcement is now trying to understand how these events may be connected and whether the explosion was accidental or intentional.
