23-Year-Old Injects Himself with Fuel After Marriage Proposal Rejection
The police department of the Republic of Artsakh reports that on August 26, they received information from the Republican Medical Center regarding a resident of the Askeran region, A. M., born in 1997, who was admitted at 5:00 AM due to phlegmon in the left forearm caused by an injection of fuel.
It was determined that A. M. had proposed marriage to A. G., a resident of the Askeran region born in 2001. After being rejected, he, in a state of emotional distress, attempted suicide by injecting approximately 5 milliliters of fuel using a syringe around 2:00 AM of the same day on Isakov Street in Stepanakert.
He then went to the village of Kharamort in the Askeran region, where his health deteriorated, necessitating his transport via ambulance to the Republican Medical Center. A forensic examination has been ordered, and the investigation is being handled by the Stepanakert department of the Artsakh police.
