«Jokhovourd» newspaper writes: «“The coronavirus has declared war on Armenia,” former President Levon Ter-Petrosyan made such a statement on June 5, adding, “The burden of conducting the war lies on the shoulders of the authorities. Anyone who fights against the authorities, voluntarily or involuntarily, betrays the nation.”

In times of war, seriousness, responsibility, and vigilance are necessary. Yet, in this context, when the reopening of general and preschool educational institutions is under discussion and massive health precautions are required to protect our children from the coronavirus and to cope with a second wave, it turns out that Health Minister Arsen Torosyans has decided to take a vacation for 18 days starting August 31.

In a country under a state of emergency due to health circumstances, the minister is going on holiday, and moreover, he has also deactivated his social media accounts where he regularly communicated updates to the public.
