The Armenian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission on Military-Technical Cooperation Meeting to Be Held in Russia

The 15th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Military-Technical Cooperation between Armenia and Russia will take place from September 14 to 18 in Irkutsk.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has signed a decision regarding this matter, which states, in particular:

“Based on part 5 of Article 7 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia on the Structure and Activities of the Government:

  1. To send a delegation to the Russian Federation (Irkutsk) from September 14 to 18, 2020, to participate in the 15th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Military-Technical Cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation, according to the annex.
  2. To include the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Russian Federation, Vardan Toghanyan, and the Permanent and Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the Collective Security Treaty Organization, Viktor Biyagov, in the Armenian delegation, ensuring their travel from their location to Irkutsk in the territory of the Russian Federation.
  3. To cover the expenses of the delegation members' trip to the Russian Federation (Irkutsk): 1) For the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Vardan Toghanyan and Representative Viktor Biyagov, from the funds provided for the maintenance of the embassies and representations of the Republic of Armenia in the state budget of 2020. 2) For Davit Virabyan and Astghik Baldryan from the funds provided for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia in the state budget of 2020. 3) For Armen Abrahamyan from the allocation for travel expenses in the security council office of the Prime Minister's Staff. 4) For representatives of the Ministry of Defense, including the head of the Armenian side of the intergovernmental commission, Deputy Minister of Defense Makara Ghambaryan, and others from their respective budget allocations for the Ministry of Defense in the state budget of 2020. 5) For Arman Atanesyan from the funds provided for the Ministry of High Technology Industry of the Republic of Armenia in the state budget of 2020.”
