Today, on August 26, a major car accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region. According to SHAMSHYAN.com, at approximately 4:00 PM, a 29-year-old resident of the Gegharkunik region, Mikayel S., driving a VAZ 21101, reportedly veered off the roadway on the 13th kilometer of the Sevan-Martuni-Getap highway under still unknown circumstances. The vehicle collided with a rock and, after rolling several times, ended up in a field.

As a result of the accident, driver Mikayel S. was taken to the “Gavar” medical center with bodily injuries. Authorities are preparing materials regarding the incident.
