Soldier Goes Missing Due to Severe Weather Conditions, MoD Reports

On August 22, at around 19:30, soldier Gurgen Alaverdyan went missing while checking a combat post due to severe weather conditions, the Ministry of Defense spokesperson Shushan Stepanyan reported on her Facebook page.
“The statement made by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan regarding a diversion is disinformation, where the missing person is portrayed as a diverter,” Stepanyan wrote.
