Defense Army Did Not Use Machine Guns or Sniper Rifles; Azerbaijan Spreads Misinformation

Azerbaijan's official propaganda, continuing to adhere to its policies based on lies and deception, has issued a statement today claiming that the Defense Army (DA) servicemen opened fire with machine guns and sniper rifles towards the village of Ghapanlu in the Tertier region. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Artsakh.

The Artsakh Ministry of Defense declares that the aforementioned statement is yet another piece of misinformation from the Azerbaijani side. Furthermore, it emphasizes that civilian populations and objects have never been and are not targets for the Defense Army.

The front-line units of the Defense Army continue to monitor the ceasefire regime and are prepared to take necessary measures in response to the situation if needed.
