According to a decision made during the extraordinary session of the Armenian government on August 12, individuals who are not citizens of the Republic of Armenia can enter Armenia by air. The possibility of obtaining a visa upon entry at the border crossing points of the Republic of Armenia has been eliminated for foreign citizens. Foreign citizens can obtain an entry permit for Armenia only through the diplomatic service of the Republic of Armenia abroad (embassy, consulate, consular point) or via the e-visa electronic system.

A person entering the territory of the Republic of Armenia, in the absence of symptoms and not hospitalized, may self-isolate for a period of 14 days at their discretion or, during self-isolation, take an PCR test and leave self-isolation upon receiving a negative test result,” the Civil Aviation Committee stated.
