Arsen Torosyan Has Not Submitted Resignation and Is Not Planning To, MoH Spokesperson

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, Alina Nikoghosyan, wrote on her Facebook page: "I have been busy all day yesterday refuting the rumors about the resignation of Health Minister Arsen Torosyan. However, it seems that certain media circles are not calming down, and one after another, they are spreading more 'refined' falsehoods.

Firstly, let's start by stating that the coronavirus situation in Armenia remains stable; cases have started to slightly decrease, and the situation is completely manageable. The Minister has been working in a 24/7 mode for the past six months and is eligible to take his annual vacation. I would also like to add that he will be in Armenia.

Arsen Torosyan has not submitted a resignation letter and is not planning to do so. After his vacation ends, the Minister will return to his regular duties.
