All Charges Against Gurgen Alaverdyan Are Absurd: MoD Spokesperson

The General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan and the State Security Service have jointly announced that a criminal case has been initiated against the lost serviceman Gurgen Alaverdyan on five different articles. This was reported by Shushan Stepanyan, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, on her Facebook page.

“All the charges brought against him are absurd, and the ongoing process is a low-quality traditional staging. The Armenian Ministry of Defense is in constant communication with international organizations and continues to work intensively around the created situation,” wrote Stepanyan.
