86-Year-Old Man Reports Missing $10,000 and 640,000 Drams; Suspect Age 20

On August 24, an 86-year-old man reported to the Shengavit Police Department that he had $19,000 and 640,000 drams hidden in his apartment's closet. He noticed in the morning that $10,000 and 640,000 drams were missing.

Through operational investigative measures, the criminal investigation officers of the Charbakh Police Department identified the perpetrator of the theft. On August 25, a 20-year-old suspect was taken into custody at the Charbakh precinct. He has provided a confession.

The stolen money has been recovered. An investigation is underway.
