The Ministry of Health has spent around 9.4 billion drams from March to August 1 on prevention, control, treatment, and other comprehensive measures against the coronavirus. This information was provided by the Ministry of Health.

The ministry presented its financial report on expenditures:

1. Maintenance costs of re-profiled medical centers - 2,258,676,043 drams
2. Payments made to multi-profile medical centers (at contractual prices) - 144,116,000 drams
3. Bonuses related to Covid-19 - 760,948,184 drams
4. Maintenance costs of temporary isolation centers - 393,021,823 drams
5. Provision of protective equipment - 854,473,744 drams
6. Provision of medications and supplies - 1,432,579,185 drams
7. Provision of medical equipment - 2,561,464,348 drams
8. Renovation of medical centers - 776,334,303 drams
9. Purchases made for the needs of other state bodies - 200,362,229 drams

The total expenditure amounts to 9,381,975,858 drams. The listed expenses are exclusively those made by the Ministry of Health, as expenditures have also been incurred by other departments.
