Now if I say the mother or grandfather should be sentenced to life imprisonment, will those ‘sensitive’ grant-dependent people still escape my face?
For years, in such families, if the word ‘family’ is not a blasphemy in their case, women and children are beaten and killed, and we all respond only to the tragedies that have already occurred. This is noted by NAIRA ZOHRABYAN, a member of the Prosperous Armenia party, on her Facebook page.
“The child has died. A 6-year-old boy from the village of Khashtarak in Tavush Province, who was brutally beaten by his mother and grandfather, has died. The child did not regain consciousness because he was beaten so badly that the doctors saw no hope for survival. Now if I insist that the mother or grandfather who killed the child should be sentenced to life imprisonment, will those ‘sensitive’ grant-dependent people still escape my face? It’s horrifying. For years, in such families, if the word ‘family’ is not a blasphemy in their case, women and children are beaten and killed, and we all respond only to the tragedies that have already occurred.
I have no questions for the neighbors and the mayor, who have always seen the schizophrenic mother and grandfather torture the children in front of their eyes. I know the answer. My question will be pointless. I feel an awful sense of pain. And shame.”
