Identity of Hospitalized Individuals Revealed Following Ambulance Accident in Armavir
During the preparatory proceedings by Senior Investigator Gevorg Yeghiazaryan of the 1st Battalion of the 2nd Traffic Police Brigade, the identities of the injured individuals and drivers hospitalized due to a major road accident in the Armavir region on August 24 have been clarified. It was determined that the "Toyota Vitz" was driven by 29-year-old Arman Tamazyan, a resident of Stepanavan, while the ambulance, a "Jin Bey" model registered at the Metsamor Medical Center, was driven by 56-year-old Grigor Ghazanchyan, a resident of Hatzik village.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the "Toyota Vitz," Arman Tamazyan, along with his passengers—31-year-old Shoger Simonyan and 5-year-old Armen S. from Dilijan, and 30-year-old Meri Baghdasaryan, 5-year-old Eva T., and 1-year-old Narek T. from Armavir—were hospitalized with injuries at the "Vagharshapat" medical center.
Earlier, the source reported a major traffic accident occurred in the Armavir region on August 24. At about 16:40, vehicles driven by 56-year-old Grigor Ghazanchyan from Metsamor and 29-year-old Arman Tamazyan from Armavir collided on the 26th km section of the Yerevan-Armavir highway.
As a result of the collision, 5 individuals, including two children, were taken to the "Ejmiatsin" medical center with bodily injuries. Initially, assistance was provided by citizens and officers from the military police department of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
