Georg Kostanyan Publishing Textbooks in Moscow
The "Zhoghovurd" newspaper reports that former Chief Prosecutor of Armenia, Gevorg Kostanyan, who has recently been residing in Moscow, has achieved significant academic success. According to the newspaper, Kostanyan has published 3 monographs, 2 textbooks, and over 25 scientific articles in various reputable journals both in Armenia and abroad (including Russia, Bulgaria, Italy, etc.) in the last 2 years alone. His works are available in Armenian, Russian, and English.
It should be noted that Dr. Gevorg Kostanyan, a doctor of legal sciences, raises issues and shortcomings present in our society as well as in post-Soviet countries and the field of law in his scientific articles and interviews, conducting comparative analyses with the rulings and positions expressed by the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR).
Furthermore, Kostanyan’s contributions to education have been largely unknown to the broader public. He has taught for about 12 years at Yerevan State University’s Faculty of Law and International Relations, and at the Academy of the Armenian Police, and is currently teaching at educational institutions of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation.
