14-Year-Old Girl Injured in Hit-and-Run Dies in Hospital

On August 15, around 21:45, a 23-year-old driver of a Mitsubishi vehicle hit 14-year-old Sona Mirzoyan in the vicinity of the Artashat highway near the village of Mkhtchyan. She was diagnosed with 'polytrauma' and was taken to the hospital.

On the same day, at 22:30, the driver reported to the Artashat police station.

Sadly, on August 24, at 11:25, Sona Mirzoyan succumbed to her injuries in the hospital. An investigation is underway.
