58 Recover from Coronavirus in Armenia; 33 New Infections Confirmed

As of August 24, 33 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Armenia, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 42,825.

The National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Armenian Ministry of Health reports that in one day, 2 citizens died as a result of the virus, raising the death toll to 854.

Additionally, there has been one reported death of a patient infected with coronavirus from another illness in the last day. As of August 24, the total number of such death cases is 256.

In total, 3 individuals have died in one day, bringing the overall number of deaths to 1,110.

In the past day, 58 people have recovered from the virus, with the total recoveries now at 36,049. Currently, 5,666 individuals are still undergoing treatment, a decrease of 28 from the previous day.

On this day, 380 tests were conducted, bringing the total number of tests performed to date to 195,574.
