The RA government is discussing the issue of a new candidate for the constitutional judge position; there is no decision yet, but we will inform you as soon as one is made,” said Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan during the Facebook press conference of Azatutyun.

Speaking about the candidacy of Vahram Avetisyan for the position of Constitutional Court judge, the minister stated, “Any candidacy is discussed broadly and a decision is made that is never based on the determination or suggestion of a single individual. Several candidacies have been discussed, and several candidates have been proposed by the same person; I have also put forward several candidacies. I presented Vahram Avetisyan's candidacy for the government's discussion; it has been discussed, and a decision has been made,” he added.
