Higher Education Institutions Will Also Open Their Doors: Araik Harutyunyan

The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Araik Harutyunyan, wrote on his Facebook page:

‼️ Higher education institutions will also open their doors

Dear students and professors, today a decision was made in a discussion with the commandant’s office to resume the educational process in higher educational institutions as well.

The academic year will start on September 1 only for first-year undergraduate students. For information about the schedule and class timings, please refer to the official websites of the universities.

For all other students, classes will commence from September 15.

As a result of a meeting with the heads of universities, it was also noted that the higher education institutions themselves will determine the method of organizing the educational process, implementing it in a hybrid format: both in-person and remotely. Further details will be published on the universities' websites, and additional information regarding the class schedules will be provided.

Dear students and professors, the proper adherence to anti-epidemic rules is the guarantee for the continuity of the educational process. If there is no proper response to all of this, restrictions will be inevitable.
