The State Revenue Committee informs carriers that due to the temporary suspension of railway traffic from Georgia to Armenia, the Ayroum-Jiliza customs point of the Eastern Customs Administration will not carry out customs processing of railway freight during the period from September 1 to 16. These operations will resume as soon as railway operations are restarted.
This was announced by the Information and Public Relations Department of the SRC.
Earlier, the South Caucasus Railway Company had reported that railway traffic towards Armenia would be temporarily suspended from September 1 to 16 due to bridge construction in the corridor passing through Tbilisi.
