50 Out of 200 Samples Tested Positive in a Large Factory: Arsen Torosyan
In the Lori region, particularly in the city of Vanadzor, the number of cases continues to be higher than in other relative regions and cities. This was stated today by Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan during a government meeting.
According to Torosyan, it is clear that in places where rules are observed, the results are good, while in places where they are not followed, dozens of cases arise that later spread to households. “It has turned out that among the samples taken from various institutions, we have zero positive results almost everywhere, with the exception of two large textile factories. For instance, in one of them, out of 200 samples, 50 were found to be positive, albeit asymptomatic. This means that the rules are simply not being followed at that factory at all, in stark contrast to the post office, medical center, and another garment factory outside of Vanadzor, which had zero positives.”
The Prime Minister also stated that the supervisory bodies must address the issues with these two textile companies, as the situation has already become chronic.
