What Rules Are Established in Libraries, Theaters, and Other Cultural Institutions: The Decisions of the Prime Minister
The new decision of the Prime Minister of Armenia has established new safety rules, as well as revised rules for sectors allowed to operate during the state of emergency. With the easing of some restrictions, libraries, museums, informal and continuing education in various fields, and the cultural sector, including theatrical events and film screenings, have begun to operate. The supervision of the established safety rules is entrusted to the Health and Labor Inspection Body of the Republic of Armenia.
Specifically, the following rules have been established for libraries:
- Each book returned by a reader is to be separated and not made available for at least 1 day.
- Visitors at reading tables are to be seated ensuring at least 1.5 meters of social distancing between them.
For museums, the following rules have been set:
- The circulation of paper informational materials among visitors must be excluded.
- The use of touch screens and other interactive tools must be eliminated.
- Where possible, halls must be equipped with informational panels, monitors, and projections to facilitate remote and contactless interaction with the collections.
For informal and continuing education institutions, the following rules apply:
- Before each group class begins, participants will undergo temperature checks using a remote thermometer.
- Course participants must wear masks.
For the cultural sector, the following specific rules are established:
- Entrance to events without a mask is prohibited.
- Before the event starts, audience members will undergo temperature checks at the entrance using a remote thermometer.
- A minimum of 6 meters of social distance must be maintained from the stage to the audience.
