6 New Cases of Coronavirus Infection Registered in Artsakh

According to information provided by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh, the new coronavirus (COVID-19) has been confirmed in an additional 6 citizens. The infected individuals are from the city of Stepanakert and are contacts of the outbreak confirmed the previous day. This information comes from the Artsakh Information Headquarters.

Unfortunately, an 81-year-old man has died, who had previously been confirmed with the coronavirus; however, his death was due to other health issues.

To date, the coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 261 people, of which 248 have recovered from the disease. Currently, 11 are receiving treatment, and a total of 29 citizens are in isolation. Doctors assess the health condition of 1 patient as serious and 3 as moderate.

A total of 166 samples were taken for testing purposes. To date, 8,373 samples have been tested.
