210 New Coronavirus Cases Confirmed in Armenia, 244 People Recovered

As of August 19, 210 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Armenia, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 42,056. According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health, one citizen died due to coronavirus in a single day, increasing the total number of deaths to 833.

The Ministry of Health reported that the deceased was a 70-year-old woman with underlying chronic illnesses. Additionally, four coronavirus-infected patients died from other illnesses in one day. As of August 19, the total number of such deaths is 249.

In total, five people died in one day, raising the overall death toll to 1,082. The number of recoveries in a single day was 244, with the overall recoveries reaching 35,226. Currently, there are 5,748 individuals undergoing treatment, a decrease of 39 from the previous day.

In one day, 1,906 tests were conducted, bringing the total number of tests conducted to 188,567.
