Highway Accessibility in Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia informs that the highways in the Republic of Armenia are passable.

Regarding the Lars situation, according to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations' North Ossetia crisis management center, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open only for freight transport due to the state of emergency.

According to the information received from the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the decision to prohibit foreign nationals from entering Georgia remains in effect. This ban does not apply to freight transport.
